Users can choose their own username and password, or alternatively the system can be configured to use the user's email address as the username, or the system can generate a username automatically. Random passwords can also be automatically generated.

- Automated Account Expiration
If membership subscription groups are set to expire then all accounts will be automatically expired by the system as per the subscription configuration. Users are notified via email that their account is due to expire a set number of days before expiration (by default, 7 days before expiration), and a final expiration notification is sent when the account is expired. All email notifications include clear instructions for how to renew the account which is fully automated by the user account manager. - Billing and Invoicing History
All payments are recorded along with invoices detailing exactly what the user purchased and when. Users can view past invoices at any time. Invoices include details of shipping costs, TAX costs, discounts and more. - Mailing List Subscriptions
Users can easily update their mailing list subscriptions, enabling them to choose which of your newsletters they want to receive. - Purchase Points
The OpenCrypt Points system enables you to charge points for accessing your content and downloads, points purchasing is automated by the user account manager and you can even setup discount schemes so users receive a discount when purchasing a significant quantity of points. For example, over 100 points includes a 5% discount. - Renew Membership Subscriptions
Account renewal is fully automated, users simply login and submit payment and the account is automatically extended as per the membership subscription configuration. The system can be configured so users can change membership subscription when renewing, so for example they could switch from a monthly subscription to an annual subscription. - Request New Password
Users can change their password at anytime, and if they have lost their password the system will email them a new randomly generated password. - Update Account Details
Users can easily update their account details via the user account manager. Custom form fields can be configured so users can not edit them after registration if you wish to ensure data is not disrupted. If email activation is enabled, users will be require to re-activate their account when making an email address change to ensure the email address is valid.
 Payment Integration and E-Commerce

- Payment Processor Integration
OpenCrypt offers integration with many online payment processors including, AlertPay, Authorize.net, Barclays ePDQ, eWay, Payoffshore, PayPal, SagePay and WorldPay. All payment processing is fully automated and purchases are automatically processed immediately after payment. - Payment Verification
All payment integration includes full verification checks to ensure only acceptable payments are processed, if a payment is pending the user's account will not be activated or products will not be assigned until the payment has cleared in full. - Recurring Payments
OpenCrypt supports automated and manual renewal payments, this means you can either automatically charge the user each time their account is due for renewal, or you can have the user return to the site and re-submit payment each time their account requires renewal. - Revenue Statistics
OpenCrypt includes a comprehensive revenue statistics system, including a revenue log which lists all the payments you have received, and analysis tools which show you your revenue totals for example each month over the past year. You can setup free subscriptions so users can register for your member's area free of charge. - Paid Subscriptions
OpenCrypt's membership subscription system is possibly the most flexible available, you can setup recurring fees, setup fees, or free trials. You can also setup varying payment structures, so for example a user pays $15 per month for their first year of membership, but after the first year of membership the fee is reduced to $10 per month as an incentive for maintaining their membership. You can even offer free membership periods after a period of paid membership.

The product categories system enables you to easily organise your products into categories to make browsing and managing the products more easy for your users and administrators. - Product Manager
The product manager enables you to manage your products, you can add images, videos and audio files, and can setup the cost of your product which can vary with quantity, for example if your product costs $10, you can charge $8 per product if the user purchases 5 or more. The product manager also supports custom form fields so you can include custom data regarding your products, for example this could be used for specifying screen size, CPU speed and hard drive size if you are selling computers. - Purchase Notifications
