The OpenCrypt File Sharing add-on allows your web site users to upload thier own files which they can then share with friends, colleagues, other users and administrators.

The system adds an interface to OpenCrypt's 'User Account Manager' which enables users to upload and manage files which can be organised in custom folders. By default the system provides a 'Public Files' folder which the user can upload files to be automatically available to other users (for example, as part of a profile on your site), the user can also add custom 'private' folders to organise files.

The interface enables the user to generate a unique file sharing link which can be used by anyone the user shares it with to view the user's files. The user can generate unlimited file sharing links which can provide access to different folders. This enables the user to setup multiple folders to organise their files so they can then share specific files as they require.

The system disguises all filenames and file locations, all files are stored securely and are only available to the user who uploaded them, administrators, and any user who has the unique ID used for viewing the shared files. The file sharing ID is randomly generated so can not be guessed.

You can use the system to allow users to share files, or as a method of offering users a private online hard drive or file storage area. You can also use the system as a method for users to share files with the web site administrator if you don't want to manage the files using the registration form and user management systems.

The system supports all file types, including images, PDF, ZIP, EXE and DOC files and provides fully automated tools for file uploading and management. The add-on also includes a management tool so administrators can easily view all the files being shared on the system and can easily delete any files as they require.
